POWRi Rained Out at I-55

PEVELY, Mo. (April 30, 2016) – The Spring Classic at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri has been cancelled due to rain. Originally set to host the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series, both divisions will have to wait until the double header weekend for the Iron Man 55 on August 5th and 6th.

For the August 5th and 6th show, the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget Series will be joining the National drivers for their third co-sanctioned weekend. Currently the West Midget drivers are 2/2 in co-sanctioned events with the National series.

The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget Series will be back in action on Friday, May 6th at Valley Speedway and Saturday, May 7th at the series’ title sponsor track, Lucas Oil Speedway. This will serve as the second round of competition, as the National and West Midget drivers will go head-to-head for the win both nights.
