Kobylarz Tops ARDC at Linda’s

JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 1, 2016) – Sometimes dad knows best, and when your dad is a former ARDC champion you listen. Trevor Kobylarz hasn’t been in victory lane with the ARDC midgets for quite some time and when car owners Dyke and Carey Becker suggested they go back to an older car to try something different it was what they needed to find victory lane.

Nick Wean was scheduled to lead the field to the green but problems sidelined him while cars were lining up for the feature. Wean’s problems put Danny Stratton on the front row along side Brett Arndt. The two leaders would swap the lead for the first lap while Ryan Greth looked to make a move to the lead. Greth’s night would end with a wild flip going into turn three.

On the restart Arndt and Stratton would continue their battle with Kobylarz catching them running the bottom. Kobylarz would pass Arndt on lap five and set his sights on leader Stratton. Trevor would stalk Danny until lap 10 when going into turn three he would pull a huge slider on Stratton. Things would be very close coming off turn four with Stratton lifting and Kobylarz leading lap eleven.

The races final red would see Mark Lowry taking a violent flip down the back stretch into turn three. Trevor would set sail on the restart with Alex Bright trying to get second from Stratton. Bright would get into Stratton on a restart spinning him to the infield collecting brother Brenden.

Stratton mounted one last challenge on the restart but Trevor was too much take the Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic ARDC presented by Auto Bahn Indoor Speedway feature.
