Props to all involved. It seems as though this place is returning to the throne as the nation's most prestigious race. It feels like it used to be. The race media and drivers are pumped today! Lets go racing!
Twitter convo between bc, kunz, and Kuhn about belleville. Winner at belleville went from 12,500 to 7,000 at the expense of the silver crowns. 35,000 had to be taken out of the midget purse for the crown cars. Drivers are not happy. Apparently it was advertised as 10,000 to win and now cut to 7,000. The drivers are talking about some of the prestige being taken from the race. They said belleville is pointing the finger at usac again. Uh oh.
