The car was purchased from the Hank Jeffries family as a dis-assembled project and only recently removed from its storage trailer. So far the evidence trail suggests this was last raced as the #91 Edmunds-2x4 Sesco "low bar" and a conversion was started to a "high bar" VW after a wreck. The story is that Tom Steiner & Doc Tyler started the project at Sunby's near Madison Wisconsin.

Anyone have photos of the yellow #91 Edmunds 2x4 Sesco from the late 1970s? KO thinks he won a feature at APS in it so photos would certainly exist.

Chuck, cold this not be the 91 once owned by Harry Steinfatt, Tommy Steiners dad, Tommy did drive it some.

It was confirmed as the Steinfatt #91 and is well on its way to being restored.
