Has there been any word on if the Chili Bowl will be broadcast on Pay Per View as it was last year? Either I missed an announcement or there hasn't been one. It is getting so close in time now, if it is going to happen they had better start letting us soon so we can make plans to order and set up parties. Jim
Midget racing is big time entertainment.

Jim- Haven't seen anything on the pay per view. Keep checking Chili Bowl.Com for airing.
Best Regards,
John

The Chili Bowl will NOT be Pay Per View this year. It will be live on SPEED-TV Saturday night, using the same format as ppv.....live from the B's through the A and taped coverage of earlier races and mid-week races.

Wow that would be awesome if that happens.

That's straight from the horse's mouth.....talked to Emmett Hahn at Creek County, and they did OK with the pay-per-view, but this is a better deal for everyone. Suspect there might be one or two commercials though.

So, will they throw a red toward the end of the A on Saturday night for the "big" final commercial? At least PPV didn't affect the show we saw in person. Not sure about live TV. Who controls when the reds are thrown--if its the TV folks that could be bad.
