There was a guy who ran midget around St. Louis that cut Chevy 350 small blocks in half and ran them.

I can't think of the guys name but he has a special frame built with a removable down tube to enable engine removal and replacement.
I love it, God help me I do love it so. I love it more than my life.

Here's "the list" from Jack Fox's book The Mighty Midget from 1977 with a few later additions by yours truly.
It is hard to put the dozens of "V-8 heads on aftermarket blocks & "Chevy II" cranks" on the same level as a guy who cuts a blown-up 270 Offy in half. Chuck Schultz Winfield, Illinois
