If I may be allowed to express my deep sorrow on behalf of everyone involved with UMARA and also the Mazon Speed Bowl & Grundy County Speedway Hall of Fame Committee, and for myself as a fan, we will all miss Kevin.

The checkered flag has fallen on a great competitor, person, and most importantly, father. Those of us who believe, know he is standing in the ultimate victory lane, though we all wish that pit gate had not opened so early.

Our sport will go on, but it will be forever changed.
