Clauson Continues Dominance … Takes World 50 Lapper

Bryan Clauson continued his winning ways in New Zealand by winning his first ever World 50 Lapper at Western Springs Speedway. Clauson (39USA) took the win over last years winner Michael Pickens (1NZ) who was followed by a trio of Americans, Darren Hagen (56USA), Tracy Hines (1USA), and Rico Abreu (97USA).

“This is one I’ve wanted for a few years now but just couldn’t get over the hump,” Clauson commented in victory lane.  “The car was on a rail tonight.

Clauson gunned into the lead at the outset from the front row outside and led throughout with Pickens surviving a battle of slidejobs with Hagen to secure the runner-up position.
